How to stock sub's locker-auto fill?

I've built my sub, now I want to fill the lockers with gear, can't figure out how to do it. Even the "auto-fill" option doesn't seem to spawn any equipment in the lockers? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

you use the various cab tags that you can view in the list of tags button next to the line to tag the cabinet what you want in them.

To be honest, I find it easiest to do this - spawn all the necessary items anywhere in the editor and the locker/supply box/toolbox whatever you want the items to be at (just one), change to the character mode, grab the items you want to stack up in the virtual inventory, open the locker and fill out just this one locker, Ctrl+C it, then Ctrl+V your locker as much as needed (it will be copied with all the items inside), and place it where needed and that's it.

I mean, yeah, that is possibly a lot of double clicking and Ctrl+V'ing, but I really find this method even quicker than auto-filling, bc then you don't need to change it or turn it off later, or generally overcomplicate yourself with these methods, although what @Kaillera said is indeed right and you can do as you please :)
