2. Grab them
3. Move the handcuffs into their inventory and equip them
The handcuffs are admittedly quite confusing to use at the moment and I think we'll need to do some rethinking on how they work. Another big issue is that it's way too easy to put them on by accident - it's funny the first time it happens, but it gets annoying really fast.
I see now. Thanks ever so much for the swift response!
What do you mean "and equip them"? There's no hand slot to put them in and double-clicking them just put them back in my inventory. Do I have to press a key?
There's a... this grey rectangle above all of the equipable stuff. Just move the handcuffs into other player's inventory and then press that rectangle, it will turn green, which means that the handcuffs have been successfully equipped.
Ooh I see, thanks!
You ever gonna fix it or 5 years on is a simple Interaction key while equipping the handcuffs as an item and hovering over someone with the mouse too hard?
Yeah, I don't recall ever seeing that mentioned anywhere in the game or an official tutorial (specifically for handcuffs, which are a bit of a special case in terms of items). I shouldn't have to go and hunt for this kind of information on the internet.
