I just.... dont really like V's playstyle at all (At least for now, maybe someday I will like it) and its really "boring" to be forced to play him.
I wish in SoS/DMD we could pick whatever character we want in all missions.
Sorry for my english.
Not sure I entirely agree with him being OP. But that could just be me. He's fine, but imo nothing compared to Dante and Nero due to their devil triggers.
Honestly what can be done at this point. Add a free-roaming mode where you can pick your character? Again, if the core content is replaying the story, I feel a bit disappointed upon having to play all characters rather than simply playing the one I like.
Remember, many people disliked Nero too back in a day.
Disliked his playstyle? Never heard that. I disliked nero in dmc4 as a character. Because he looked like an angsty brat with very little likability. Never had any problem with him gameplay-wise.
Tbh, in some ways I think I prefer dmc4 choices more than dmc5. Not saying the game was better. Just saying I prefer playing one character rather than several. Given 3 options in dmc5. Everyone is most likely gonna have a favourite. Making it not so appealing to play the missions without that character.
I truly hope/wish they'd add a function for you to play the game with just one character.
This is almost my first dmc, but if you are a dmc player maybe you do not want/like a non-melee combat. They tried to create a ranged character, and in my opinion he is well integrated in the ecosystem of the game combat. I like his varation from pure melee. I still not played so mutch, maybe later he will become more boring and i will agree more with you. But overall i cant find him THAT bad, for me now he is just op cause you can almost spam giant and smoking a cigarette while he finish.
That must be the problem. I absolutely hate mage/summoners/sorcerers class, I've always remained far away from these type of characters in every single game that had them.
Wish you could just skip V altogether, but thankfully you don't have to play him that often.
A pity because Shadow is fantastic. Fortunately there are few chapters with forced V play.
