Xbox One X version update?

Sorry Im posting here, but I do have a PC and play games here too. Also thinking of buying the game on PC too!
My question is this.
I have the Xbox One X Game Pass version of the game.. so for those that don't know Game Pass is where you pay $9.99 a month and you can play 100's of games new and old for a sub. So Graveyard Keeper was on there and I installed it right away because I had been watching this game on Steam for awhile.
Anyway after playing I was watching some Twitch Streams and I noticed that in the Keeper's House that there was a Chest inbetween the Stove and the Chopping Table. That chest IS NOT there in the Xbox One X version.
So I back out to the main menu and is see that the version is 1.010
I check the steam forums here and I see the newest update is 1.023
I really would like to purchase the game on Xbox One, but I haven't because I'm wondering if or when it will actually be updated to the current version OR if because I'm using Game Pass version that the Game Pass version isn't the Full Updated game?

Again sorry for posting this here, but no forums on Xbox really lol.

I've got this on Xbox One and Steam as well. Right now Xbox One seems to be the better option for me because I don't have an external mouse on my laptop so I can't actually scroll on the PC version until a patch comes out that adds a scroll bar.
That being said, I think the Xbox One shows way too much area on the screen, making the character sprites and the text really small. I'm kinda hoping that a future patch shrinks the visible area on on the screen so the sprites can be a little bigger.
