Game breaking bug, -church door is unlocked but unusable

I can't enter or exit the church through the main doors on my 114.7 days file save.

When approaching the doors from the outside, nothing shows up, no popup for enter or anything. nothing occurs when I press E. I go to my house, enter the cellar, make my way to the church through the tunnels, go to the door. A 'Exit (E) text pops up, but when I press 'E' nothing occurs except for the sound file of the door opening plays for each bash of 'E'.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying game files, I still can't use the main doors of the church.
I am about to turn off and turn back on my computer in the hopes of that working to fix this bug.

Edit: Sard it all! Turning the computer on and off failed to do anything! I have the most recent version of steam, am running the most recent version of the game! Don't tell me my only option is to start the game all over again???

Funny having ZERO RESPONSE for 2+ weeks for a paid product, yeh?
