Dinner for Merchant

I have 5 sets of Gold Star Onion Rings, Pumpkin Soup, and Grape Pie. I cannot give it to him.
I double checked the Wiki (seems I spend more time there than in-game lol) for the requirements.

Am I missing something?

Go to your cooking station in the house and use those sets of items to craft five gold star dinners (miscellaneous/quest tab). It does not matter what you craft them out of as long as you have gold star foods (I use onion rings, left over burgers from witch burnings, and cake myself).

tl:dr - you need to make the quest items in your kitchen, it's not three sets of five items being turned in, but five items.

Well his day passed, so I will have to do that next time around.

Weird thing is that the Gold Star Pumpkin soup is not being recognized even though I have it in my inventory and chests.

Try to stick to the vanilla available foods, it doesn't exactly like to work with the ones added through dlc. As an extra tip, you don't have to use the up and down arrows to select your crafting materials, you can click on the slot and choose from your inventory.

Happy to be of help by the way, it's definitely a fun game despite some of it's quirks.
