Not getting any blue orbs/points

So i just started playing this game and i now got to the point that i need to learn glass blowing so i can make a study table. I need to unlock something in the crafting tree which costs me 10 blue orbs.

Now i searched the internet and it told me that i can get blue orbs from crafting glass. But i just crafted 30!!!!!!!! glass and didnt get one single blue point???

Is this some kind of bug or am i doing something wrong? because this way i cant advance in the game. Hope someone can help me please let me know!

The study table is already built in the church basement.

You should get your early blue points from studying on it.

In case, you destroied it, you cannot get blue from crafting any glass from now.

Also, it is only the 2nd tier of glass that provide blue, which you need blue to unlock.

Candles, if you can make a church workbench, are a pretty good source. You'll have to grow the hemp, but beeswax and (to some extent with carrots) fat are free.

Which require blue points to unlock.

Almost all craft that provide blue points require a technology that cost blue points to unlock them.

You almost have to get your first blue points from studying body parts/graves.

The answer you're actually looking for is that you need to harvest skin from human corpses, build a church workbench in the basement (you'll need advanced mechanical parts, but you can make those on the metal anvil). Once you've built the workbench, use it to turn the human skin into clean paper.

Take that clean paper over to the study desk and 'study' it -- when you add the paper to the study slot the slot will turn into a 'deconstruct' slot. Deconstruct the clean paper to produce blue points.

You can then use those blue points to unlock the tech you need in order to earn science points (which are also blue and what everyone seems to think people are asking about when people ask about blue points; as someone above said, you'll get lots of blue science points from studying parts you remove from corpses).

you need to make conical glass not normal glass. also i recommend getting the stone working upgrade first in the blue tree. Every gravestone II you make you will get 5 blue
