Point of Sulfur - none!
Life powder.. um I get that via flowers and other things.
What is the bloody point?
It should have something special needed for it but nope. It should be removed from the game.
If you get it, just destroy it.

Actually, the only realistic alternate source for life *powder* are Intestines, which - despite being renewable - aren't particularly efficient; they don't stack, are only found within corpses (max 5x per week, a value of 10 to 15 powder), and each requires 10E upfront in order to be removed from the given corpse. Meanwhile, assuming you're doing any sort of furnace work, you can easily haul down a single stack of 30 Sulfur (valued @ 60 to 90 powder) after a Quarry trip; a 'free' byproduct of mining Coal, assuming you have the required tech unlocked.

... but I agree - Sulfur is surprisingly limited, compared to most other items found in-game, and unless you're chugging health potions, life powder itself isn't particularly useful either.

True it has limited use. I will note however if the game gets more items Sulfur+Charcoal+Fertilizer=Boom.:DSMskull:
which it might since if you go all the way to where the water is blocked north of the keepers house and a bit east you will see water blocked by a massive land slide and you click it with inspect/examin he will say cannot do this right now or something along those lines.
which tells me they have plans for that landslide northeast of the Keepers place.
