Simple Iron Parts

Where can I buy Simple Iron Parts, or even Nails? I'm stuck as I can't build a Wooden Anvil without a few of these.

Thanks - also I have a quest from Krezvold to repair some sword, but I don't have any swords on me. Not sure what to do?

Are you sure it isn't equipped in on the of the six equipment slots? Pretty sure you can't sell your starting weapon.

I have a rusty sword on me, it works, I can't seem to sharpen it though. I can sharpen my other tools though.

Pretty sure the smith told you to sharpen the sword, and then kill the slimes behind his house. Sounds like the slimes are the part of the quest holding you up.

I already killed the slimes, took 3 seconds, it's the sword sharpening part that I'm not getting. Did he actually give me a sword to sharpen? Coz maybe my inventory was full and I couldn't take it?

Yep - its a 0% Rusty Sword along with a whetstone, which you would normally use the whetstone to repair the sword, then use the sword on the slimes ... how did you manage to kill the slimes w/o repairing the sword??

I dunno, it was the sword, i pressed space to attack them and they both died and i got their green jelly. But the game still thinks I haven't completed the task.

Is Krez asking for anything specifically? - like the slime byproducts?

No - asking to sharpen a sword and kill 2 slimes behind the blacksmith

I can't sharpen the sword, i have a whetstone and can sharpen the tools but not the sword, even crafted one and bought another one off blacksmith, why can't I sharpen the sword?

Because they start at 100% and don't naturally degrade. The one Krez gives you initially is at 0%, so you shouldn't be able to use it and must first repair it. I earnestly don't know how you managed to kill the slimes without picking up and repairing that sword. Can you maybe provide a screenshot of the options you have available when speaking to Krez?

Ok so I just paid for this game even though I had a free version as I was hoping that it would change for me and I'd be able to make advanced glass thingys for the alchemy work bench thing and be able to actually fish and build a wood thing that makes the beams etc..but none of those are in my blueprints, even now. Help. Or how do I get a refund? Love this game but now I pretty much can't get any further as I can't catch frogs or anything. I've made it this far without these things but now I give up.

I think I know the issue. I started up a new game, and funnily enough I did that quest within the first hour. I believe the problem in my current game is that I didn't go back to the blacksmith after killing the green slimes, I believe you have to kill them and return the green jelly of them back to the blacksmith. I thought I could go ahead and do other things and return later on. Now the slimes are not there and I can't possibly return the green slime remains. Just wish the game could let me reset the quest or something. I'm missing out on green and red jelly recipes as well as less favour with Hoderick etc. Not sure what else I'm missing out on, but I've got about 30 hours on my game session and really don't want to start from scratch again.

You can still find green slimes north to your house in the morning and get jelly from them if you missed the slims spawned for that quest. Remember, in the morning.
