Digging up your First Grave

The Ghost asks you to dig up a grave - and then everybody gets stuck.
Btw - its hidden east of your house, nowhere near the graveyard,
Also, when are we getting a task list to see all the random things people have requested?

Actually the game doesn't care which corpse you dig and throw in the river.

It doesn't even need to be a dug up corpse, throwing a "fresh" corpse delivered by the donkey will work exactly the same. Same cutscene, same dialogues.

Now in his dialogue, the ghost ask you to dig up the grave from the bottom right corner of your graveyard (the only grave with no decoration on top).

The grave you dig up is the grave of the farmer's wife (which is actually used in one of the quest from Stranger Sins).

I always throw out the grave of the one just diagonally up from the bottom right one. The one requested only has 2 red skulls and so can be made into a good grave once you stop wounding corpses. The one above has 4 red so would require end game emblaming to make good.

Youre supposed to dig up a grave in the graveyard, its to introduce you to the mechanic of replacing bodies in the graves to enable you to improve your score later on.

You already have a task list... in the menu, look under known NPCs, there you go.
