Prep table II, embalming table II, and the fridge pallets will halt decay, but you need to put the bodies on them first.
Building the hatch so the corpse drops into the morgue directly instead of outside slows decay, but that's the best that can be done until you can pick it up and place it on a table.
But you generally want to process corpses rapidly as when your corpse capacity is full you cannot receive corpses. Unless you are at the part of the game where money from prayer that comes from graveyard rating doesnt matter. In which case you can just let corpses fill the mortuary and later extract parts and burn the corpses.
Mid game when I do not want to spend time on corpses I will use 1 or 2 fridge pallets to stack corpses and then ignore them. That lets me process them in batches.
