Modding in 2023

Hi guys! I might just be stupid but I need help with modding :(

I've been looking high and low for a guide, and so far the only thing I've found is that QModManager is no longer available and its alternative BepInEx 5 pack doesn't work for me even after following all steps.

Atp I think all the mods that used to work with QModManager on Nexus simply don't work with BepInEx :(

Am I missing something?

Hello, some mods that are updated in the year 2023, (some) work with BepInEx.

However, at the end of November all my mods stopped working, now I'm going to try to install them all again to see if they work again,

If you are talking mods by p1xel8ted you also need GYK Helper. It is a required library under BepInEx.

Every dll mod has to be placed in ..Graveyardkeeper/BepInEx/Plugins

I wanna make sure I am in the right directory for this one, so it should be Program Files/steam/steamapps/common/Graveyard Keeper? That is the main directory, right?

Because I cannot get anything to work, not even the BepInEx5 confiq manager (F1) let alone any mods. And I have GYK Helper in there.

I should not recommend to install games under ..\Program Files\something\something.. because of Windows UAC protection of everything behind that root folder. There are workarounds (like admin rights) for this, but it's easier to move the steam game install folder to something like C:\games\steam\andsoon or D:\something..
