Donkey dlc quest (game of crone?)

I wasted like 30-40 hours on a second save to see if somehow I trashed/sold/lost the items somehow but no. I just got the quest again and now I'm like WHERE ARE THEY?!

I have all the dlc for this game so figuring out which came from where is hard since I got them all in one go anyway...

I need to make horseshoes and horns or whatever and I need to take them to someone however donkey never gave me the broken ones to fix up. I think I got complex components and that's it. Is this a glitch or somehow are they not properly implemented yet??? If it's not implemented then I'm done with this game 😡

Everything is as it should XD. They were just lazy and reused the complex components textures, but changed the name. So instead of "complex components" you got 2x "pile of components". You are supposed to bring them to Krezvold (the blacksmith in the village) and pay him 50 silver coins for it.

You also need 1 golden star pumpkin (which you need to grow and harvest) and bring it to Clotho the Witch in the swamp (right of graveyard. You wil also need to pay her 50 silver coins.

I recommend googling the quests if you are stuck. They are well described by people that already finished them.

Also, as far as I am aware. If you got rid of the 2x pile of components. You probably can't get it again.

IS there a way to accidentally use them? and yeah SUPER LAZY. compared to all the work they have done that REALLY aggravates me that they put in so much work for the main game and 3 other dlc's but couldn't make like some rusted form of the components so they can't be used??? thanks for the comment i shall now go SCOUR every chest i have and hopefully not need to replay.... again....

I honestly don't know. If the game is coded as it should. Then it should not be possible to use them, but if it was really lazy way and the id/properties are the same as complex components. Then maybe it would be possible ??

Anyway. If you lost it. Maybe some cheat engine could bring this 2 items back in to your save. But, I can't help you with that, never needed such software.

i don't cheat, even for something this tedious. i will search both my saves and see if i can find them and if not i will start over and make sure i place them somewhere else or maybe make sure i have the money and do it immediately.

well i found them and they look more like scrap and complex components had a kid lol but thanks for the help gosh i was loosing my mind over this issue.
