Horadric Friendship Bugged?
So basically im trying to get the mead recipe and the wiki says i have to get 30 friendship with horadric to be allowed in the backroom where the recipe is. the problem i have is that the second friendship requirement doesnt trigger. you get the first 10 for doing his blacksmith sidequest then 10 for bringing him the beer later and 10 for, as the wiki says, selling him a package of meat. but now im about 200 in-game days in and have sold him several packages but am still stuck on 20 friendship. My question is is it a bug, did they simply remove the mead or did they change the friendship requirement? Horadric even said i could go back there and get the recipe but i cant enter the room because i need 30.

It's pretty common for people to not get credit for the gold star Beer because they sell it to him instead of giving it to him.

Also, I don't know if it has anything to do with anything, but have you entered the Dead Horse while carrying a bronze star onion yet?

Im getting the credit for the beer. im not getting credit for selling him the first package of meat.

I just got a +10 for Horadric that was unexpected, he congratulated me for the first church upgrade. If you don't have that yet, or didn't talk to him between upgrading the church from stage 2 to stage 3, you may not have that one.

Ok i may have not done the church upgrade yet, so that might be it. I'll try it and get back here if anything happens.

Ok so I finally got my church to stage 2 and you were right. Horadric congratulated me for it and i got 10 friendship points for it. Thx a lot. I mean i couldve gotten it by playing but since i unlocked this once before the new dlc i didnt know that the requirement changed. Anyway thx mate.

Hope you game goes smoother from now on.

I'm sure for most people, most of the time, it just happens and we don't notice it. I never noticed it before, but I put a note on the discussion tab for Horadric on the wiki so that someone who can edit the article without messing the page up will eventually add it.
