Nope ...and crafting the 'steel sword with gem' is practically useless, except for studying - it's identical to the 'steel sword'.

No. He keeps your damask sword, and also you might not enjoy what he wants to use it for.

If you have the GoC DLC I do not suggest crafting the sword with gem or damask for yourself...
