How to run Better Save Soul DLC.

If you've passed part or all of the game.

You should wait until the Donkey will deliver a fresh corpse. When you’ll come to corpse hatch, you’ll find not one, but two bodies. That's the beginning and first quest of the Better Save Soul DLC.

In the beginning.

After the beginning of the game and passing the tutorial, you should have an open Church (upgrade your graveyard to 5 points and talk to the Bishop), and repaired corpse hatch (inside and outside). After that, when the Donkey will bring you a fresh corpse, you’ll find not one, but two bodies. That's the beginning and first quest of the Better Save Soul DLC.

Hm... I got the corpses beside with the note to let them disappear as soon as possible, so I burned them. Nothing happened since then. Am I missing something or do I just have to be patient?

If it comes with a note, then I guess there are 3 of them, right at the doorstep of your morgue? That's what you get from GoC DLC quest, not this DLC.

I got the pride soul piece but when i try to use it on the guy the game just does nothing... tried several times not sure what's going on. It's not very clear on what you are supposed to do.

I got sin shards from doing autopsies. I have to put out more carrots for donkey though.

You occasionally get sin shards during an autopsy (extract as you would any other body part), or if you allow an extracted soul to expire/evaporate it will turn into a shard.

I'm playing with an end-game save, and Vagner is nowhere to be found. The Pride sin requires that I talk to Vagner for something. What do?

You have to go to the post box outside of the church.

Posible BUG

After completing part? of the Better Save Soul DLC storyline, (the stained glass window in the temple is complete, Euric is gone) upon waking up, the character freezes - or rather the controls freeze - the game doesn't respond to the keys nor mouse (nor to ESC). But the game itself runs on - the fire burns, zombies run through the room.
