'Vampire problem' is part of the Game of Crone DLC, and is *not* time sensitive. There are two other quest-lines introduced with GoC, one of them being the Refugee Camp, and that is tied into the vamp quests - you can only progress so far with one without also progressing with the other. Otherwise, you can practically do whatever you want...

So yeah, no pressure - you can ignore the vamp quest-line ... or, just go at your own pace.

good to hear its a fun game but it just seemed it was going a bit to fast for all the things i had to do

the donky wants oil the skull want wine i havent started farming yet some ass is burning ppl each week an im stuck trying to find out how to get the blue gems so i can get the saw blade to make beams to clear blockage to find a book in a secret room in the basement of the church

then the town was like were under attack vamps are killing us all but if that only progresses as you do the objectives i dont need to worry about the town dieing before i can even grow some carrots

The good news is that Nothing in the game is time sensitive. Take it at your own pace. Even body production in time will be at your demand buy controlling the means of production of carrots.:pint: Always Remember. When you feed a Donkey some carrots, somebody dies.:cozycastondeath:

In response to your other issue with getting blue gems (or faith experience), an early way to get some is to get Stone Working and Stone Graveyard 1 as soon as possible and craft Stone Fence 1's for the graveyard. They cost 2 stone each, give you 5 blue xp each, and can then be broken down into a single stone. It might take a few trips to the nearby stone deposit, but it's a huge help in getting started.

Or researching body parts is always good to start with too.

Do all that but always eat cake before you research anything that gives you blue points. You get cake receipt from Dig (the barrel man) as first quest reward. Cake is easy to craft and adds major buff for points recieved.
