Did I screw my game up?

Hello,

In the Game of Crone new DLC, the Donkey gave me a mission to create a war horseshoe and unicorn horn. However, I can’t find it anywhere on the map. I remember receiving it but I’m afraid I have destroyed it by mistake.

It looks like another metal I have and I might have destroyed it by mistake in order to make some place.

Since I can’t find this metal needed for the mission, I’m wondering if it’s possible to destroy a mission important item like this one. I have a lot of the metal which looks like the item we need, yet I guess it doesn’t mix up with our item, does it ?

I have another similar issue in stranger sins dlc, where I can’t find the invitation the fish man stole. Maybe we can get it back after he make his shows in our tavern....

Anyway, it would have been great if important mission item would be impossible de destroy...

They don't stack with the regular items, so you're looking for a pile of 2 iron parts that look very much like complex iron parts.

The item you're looking for is the last one shown in the inventory at 9:00 here.

Do you think it’s possible that I have destroyed it? You know when I have too much item in my backpack, I often destroy one of the item.

I hope it’s not possible. I saw what the needed item looks like when I visited kresvold. But I really can’t find it anywhere.

As I wrote earlier, I hope I didn’t destroy it.

My inventory was probably full, so it was left somewhere near the graveyard. I’ll come and check again tonight.

Hope I won’t have to start everything over. I have the game on both PC and Switch, but the GoC DLC was only released on PC so I left the Switch to play GyK on PC.

I had a similar problem: Just Search our chests and backpacks for a stack of 2 items that looks like Scrap metal or complex iron parts. As far as i have experiences the game, you cannot destroy items, that are criual for quests.

Thank you for your reply. You gave me hope to find it back. I'll try to search everywhere but since we can drop the item anywhere, I have a lot of work to do...

I'll keep you posted if I find it back, otherwise, I'll have to start everything over...

Quest Items are impossible to be destroyed, that option is always greyed out. However you CAN lose them in certain ways, destroying storage when such items are in it, leaving them in the dungeon etc.
