Disappointed in Game of Crone ending
Obvious spoilers ahead if you haven't completed the DLC.

Apparently I chose the "wrong" ending and now I don't get the perk and part of my tech tree remains locked forever and the refugee camp I worked hard to build up is useless. I really wanted to keep playing to max everything out, the graveyard and all my skills, and optimize other stuff but the stupid ending killed all of my motivation.

You should have sided with the Hunchback

Hindsight 20/20. The game did a terrible job of telegraphing the consequences of the choices.

Same thing for me...

I do not know if it can help you but the game stores 2 backup files in the C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Lazy Bear Games\Graveyard Keeper\ folder.
If you had not save more than 2 times after the Game of Crone DLC ending, you can restore one of this backup.

First, save backups before changing anything.
If your game is in the first save slot, delete 1.dat file and rename 1.dat.backup.1 or 1.dat.backup.2 into 1.dat.

Unfortunately I can not restore my game before Beatrice's choice, but I restored it just before the refugees goes away. So in the quests list the DLC will be never ended, but I keep the refugees camp.

I can t go that back neither so i have to do the same as you, never completing the DLC

I have finally find a way to restore my game file before the DLC ending choice. But it is a little extreme and maybe you can not do the same thing.

When you do a right click on C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Lazy Bear Games\Graveyard Keeper\, you should have a "Previous versions" tab. If you see your folder in this panel, you can restore the entire folder. But it will work only if you have create a system restore point manually or automaticaly some days ago. I was able to reset the file to its previous state of 3 days.
It's up to you if you have the courage to lose some hours of game just to do a different choice on this DLC.

You get a perk either way; you just can't get both perks. No matter what ending, you should be able to unlock your entire tech tree. The only real result of your decision is the refugees either stay or leave.

No we had no perk if we decide to help Beatrice and told everything to Koukol.

I think it's a shame to spend several hours developing a camp only to find it lifeless at the end. We lose a few merchants and the generation of food :(

And since I wanted to max out my graveyard, the gravestone merchant is no longer there to help me. Those level 9 gravestones are a pain to craft.

No, you should get a perk even in the ending that you got. It's called Eloquence, you will get that after you hold a sermon in your church/cathedral after the camp leaves. Of course, it's not the best perk that you can get from the endings in this dlc.

Ok good to know. Indeed it is less interesting than the other perks.
