Seems impossible to right click in Inventory on a Macbook Air with trackpad?

Is this true? I've been trying to consume things in the inventory and I can't figure out how to right click with a trackpad on my Macbook Air. I don't have a mouse. When I click an item in the inventory it just highlights that item and turns the surrounding screen black. Any suggestions?

...as far as consumables specifically, the item being highlighted and the screen going dark when holding the mouse button down is the game's way of 'suggesting' to drag the item into one of four quick-slots you should find along the bottom-center of your screen. Once slotted, the items can be consumed by pressing #1-4. However, there are a few specific items - such as the Teleportstone - that you can only utilize by right-clicking, afaik.

BTW, that 2-finger click is the "right-click" for everything on the Mac trackpad
