Game of Crones Donkey horse shoes.

I am currently trying to ask the blacksmith to make the horse shoes and unicorn horn for the donkey and the blacksmith asks for complex parts, i have them in my inventory but just shows as red as if i dont have it. What do i actually need to get to make the blacksmith do his thing?

The parts are not normal complex parts but special ones for the quest. You received them when the quest started.

Strange, I don't remember having to bring anything to the blacksmith. He asked 50 silver or so and then told me to sleep and come back tomorrow.

Did anyone find a way round this? Same problem. I did not get any components in my box after the donkey left, the box just asks for the horse shoes and iron horns and the blacksmith does not give an option to pay him for the parts, instead he just asks for the special components. My whole game is stuck with this, the Donkey wont bring Carl lol.

I have the same issue. I got no components at all.

I found the solution in another thread. It turns out you got them. You just didn't notice.

They look exactly like metal scrap. Go check all of your chests and the refugee camp because you likely stashed them somewhere.

I did this exact thing, stashed them with my other scrap. Took me a while to work it out.

Hi guys, I do have the same issue. The icon for components is slightly different than for other scraps. I checkech every chest and can't find it.
