The value of the packaged meat, with how long it takes to start selling it, doesn't really fit. The value is low, and it degrades over time, while also meaning you have to take a +1 Sin on a corpse to do it.

If you could do it much earlier, it'd be different... and there's the fact you need the flesh for your, ahem, "cow" burgers later too, so...

the value is a lot worse than low, it's atrocious, i crafted the meat package once and will literally never do so again, it's that bad.

The game doesn't let you sell you in bulk for maximum profit, so it makes sense to branch out and make different things. You can at least sell the meat from the corpses you are going to burn anyway. But don't buy it, though ;)

eh, i'd already afforded the gold jewlery fittings i needed for church stuff so it was literally entirely on principle.

Ugh, yeah, I actually saved up for the stamp to get it "legitimately" and it was soooo not worth it. I honestly would not bother beyond whatever you need to do for the barkeeper's quests, the flesh has much higher value in a later event.
