Vagner/Miss Charm's love song
I see that others have posted about this and I have tried the troubleshooting that has been recommended (meditating and going AFK for an hour, etc). I exhausted the stories from Vagner with the wine and he's still at the Inn. When I approach him, I get "leave" as the only option.

Did anyone have similar to me and was able to progress with the quest? Any help would be wonderful!

What exactly is the hold up? - is Ms. Charm expecting something? - can you confirm precisely what that something is? ...gonna likely be either a gold-quality Story or Song Lyrics. If it's the former, you're getting a bit ahead of yourself - just bring her a regular gold-quality Story.

i think you've skipped over some of the quest stages to a point in the walkthrough that you haven't unlocked yet

it might be the part where you need 'infusion' which is liquor combined with red mushrooms, looks like a moonshine jug with a red x on it(i think)

If that was the case, Vagner would be requesting it, having that option in addition to 'Leave'.

I have given Vagner the infusion. Sorry I should have made that clear!

Hmmm ...this is going to sound strange, but after you load in, go do something else for a while, then come back gome for a full nights sleep, and then try going back to the Dead Horse (without leaving the game) and see if Vagner is still there. He should be 'prepped to leave' at this point, leaving a note behind.

Im having the same problem since ages ago. Never bothered me since i thought that i just had to do something later in the game to finish that quest line. Vagner is still on the inn, i already gave Mrs. Charm the golden story, but like the op, i only get the "Leave" dialogue option. I already tried to sleep several times, nothing changes. Im already almost in the end of the quest line from Mrs. Charm (after repairing the mill and adquiring the Alisa papers). Vagner is still in the Inn lol.

I also have the necklage quest-line from Snake bugged i think, he still shows me the quest option "about the necklage..." but when i click, it only shows "leave", althou im already in the very end of Mrs. Charm quest line and she doesnt ask for the necklage anymore....

if he has drank the infusion and told you to return tomorrow, and since then you went home and sleep through the night, then go back to the inn, then go to the cliffs

and he's still in the inn unresponsive then yeah, i'd say you're probably glitched

Oh i see whats the problem in my case. I never got the "Write a song to Mrs. Charm", quest from Vagner after i talked to Mrs. Charm... so yeah, it must be bugged. What a surprise lol. I gave Mrs. Charm a golden story i already had in the inventory and that was about it (althoug i cant even remember if that was related to that particular quest... ). But i never got the recipe for the infusion from Vagner in first place...

maybe not glitch, there's a lot of hooks and triggers in this game that aren't always obvious,

not that this game doesn't have it's bugs, but there's many pages of this type of thing in the comments here and most of the time it resolves itself after going to other quest lines and coming back later

i don't know what story line unlocks the 'write a song' quest, but i would you have to go do something else first
