it's different than the preparation table, embalming is a time-based thing, so you usually make a few tables so you can have a few going while you leave and do other thigns

you turn the elixirs into injections at the church worktable after you make the silver elixirs at the alchemy table
This might be the solution. If you try to inject the elixers they won't show up in the balming table inventory/interface.
Argh I'm a moron. I have put so many hours into this game while furloughed that I lost the ability to distinguish between elixir and injection. Reading is fundamental. Thanks!
my main playthrough was a torturous struggle where i did almost everything in the game - concentrating on the inquisitors quests- because i thought he would unlock alchemy
after pushing the limit and getting mad i started looking and realized i needed to build the bridge to the witch....
anyway, it went pretty fast after that...
Only on my second Playthrough I realized "Hey! When I move my mouse outside of the right side, the button for queue do appear"
So everything fine man, we all do mistakes ^^
