Dark Organs [SPOILER] RESOLVED

Does it have to be one of each or can I take duplicates with me? I keep getting Dark Hearts :(

Not sure what you mean by "it" or "take duplicates" ...maybe the Inquisitor quest-line, in which case he just accepts one of each, and won't advance until you've given him all three.

Unfortunately, the dark organs are random - so I guess it's just bad luck, getting no intestine or brain? - just keep feeding the donkey carrots, and it'll eventually drop. Could also 'save-scum' ...as in, save your game later-afternoon before a corpse drops, check it, and if you don't like it, quit and load to try again (the body parts are generated at the time of drop-off).

In order to get the next dark organ you need to give the dark heart to the inquisitor first , then you'll unlock the next dark organ and so on.

Not necessary. In my game I get all 3 of them by the next week that the inquisitor came. I got a dark heart on first day, then 2 more dark brains and a dark intestine on the next 4 days.

PS. follow @EVIL Shenanigans Is a great idea. It will help you gather dark organs much easier :D

This is driving me nuts. So far I have had over 30 Dark Hearts and half as many Dark Intestines, but STILL no Dark Brain. It's just one long round of Carrots > Dissection > Burn, more of a chore than an enjoyable game. Is there any chance my game is bugged somehow? There's RNG and there's just plain ridiculous :(

You *might* try digging up 5+ skull corpses that you've buried prior to unlocking the requisite perk to see what you find (save before, and quit afterwards, just so you don't ruin your graveyard needlessly). This didn't work in my first playthrough (~v1.035), but in my most recent one (v1.122), corpses that I buried with*out* any dark organs (due to lacking the perk) sometimes came back out of the ground *with* dark organs.

Either/or, yeah, sounds kinda redic...

All the bodies in my Graveyard have only white skulls - is there still the chance they'll have a Dark Brain?

The only way I could do it in the end was by continuously reloading a Save, which is kinda cheating; but it was that or give up.
