Tavern Porter Won't Deliver Mead
So, I've got zombies working for all positions to produce for the tavern (which needs some serious balancing work, btw) when I noticed a complete stagnation in delivery.

As it turns out, while you can enable mead to be picked up and delivered, your porter will not actually drop the mead off. Eventually, the mead fills up his inventory and you have to pick him up, he drops all the mead and you put him back in the porter station.

Obviously I've turned this off, but I did test both bronze and gold variations to see if there was a difference. There was no difference.

To get ahead of some questions:
- my tavern was nearly empty when I found the issue, so it wasn't an issue of it being full.
- each time i picked him up at the return side of his pathing, where he drops the mead only

Has anybody else noticed this issue? I've got 2k golden hops to use up and honey is much easier to come by. (i've ceased my 2 zombie hops farms, i couldn't keep up with the zombie brewer and 2x brewing stands)

That's odd - I've brewed lots of mead during my game and never noticed this issue. As far as I remember, the mead was transported to the tavern and sold there, I remember it appearing in the list of sold drinks.

1. Are you sure that "Mead" is enabled (with a checkmark) at the porter station?
2. Are you sure that your tavern was empty, including the trunk? (For some reason the porter deposits mead in the trunk, not the shelves.)

I recommend not using the buggy booze porter, it's easy enough to build up stock as you visit to run events and do artifact quests. If you must use it, you should assign each of the shelves to one kind of alcohol: mead, red wine, beer and booze.

As long as there is one alcoholic beverage matching what the porter is carrying in a rack (type and star level), matching deliveries will go in that container.

Deliveries other than mead that don't match anything stored in the tavern cellar already will go in the pre-built rack first, then the other racks in the order you built them in if there is space, as far as I can tell.

As far as I can tell, deliveries of mead that don't match anything already there will go into the chest first, then any completely empty rack (but I am not sure about the empty racks, they may only go in the chest).

What I ended up having to do (because bugs piss me off) is:

1.) Put ONLY gold star beer, mead and red wine in the tavern (and of course alcohol which doesn't have quality stars)

2.) Deliver it mostly myself.

3.) Set the porter, if and when I use it, to deliver only one kind of alcohol at a time.

I also make efforts to run events with enough food that only gives optimal results that alcohol is never used for them, even if you put it right in the barman inventory. This is what I use, about 140-200 per event, although there are others that give optimal results:

Graveyard fest - bronze Burger, silver baked pumpkin, bronze onion rings
Comedy standup - silver Burger, gold baked pumpkin, silver Bowl of lentils, silver onion rings
Ms Charms song - Pasta, gold pumpkin soup, gold Bowl of lentis, silver Burger
Rat races - gold onion rings

All of my Burgers are made from frog meat, although I sell corpse meat to Horadric in packaged format. He's a ♥♥♥♥ and only does you any good when it's in his own interest. :)

Edit: Another thing you can do is only make one kind of alcohol for tavern use. Beer is a good choice, since it sells well and doesn't get put in the chest by the porter.
