The hobo to the right, near the lighthouse. You can also make it from human fat in the thinggie that you use to squash grapes . But buying it from the hobo is the easiest way. If i remember corectly you could also use hemp seeds to make but farming it at large scale is not worth it

Creating hemp rope awards blue XP, which is worthwhile early on.

U can craft by yourself using fat or weed seeds.

But honesty is not worz, it's better just buy it. The weed/oil trader it's at the right of the "town" in a little ruins.

chaos powder (bat wings for example) + order solution (white flower)
mix them together 4 times to get 4 oil goo
finally get one drop of oil on alchemy workbench
upd. water+order solution works too

The oil you need for Donkey should be purchased from Dig, the npc located along the road east of the village, just past the chicken farm where you buy eggs. Trying to make it yourself this early in the game is a losing strategy.

If you want, I can send you my personal walkthrough to get you through the first couple of weeks as efficiently as possible. I don't publish it because it's very tightly timed and it goes in a few directions that postpone some events that a lot of people get uptight over, and it does some things in unusual ways, like not giving a flying **** about blue points early on and keeping farming to a fairly bare minimum. It's also constantly in a state of flux because I figure out different ways to tweak it almost every time I play the game of "Make my GyK walkthrough even better" (as I don't actually play GyK for its own sake, I only play it because I enjoy exploring possibilities for improving the walkthrough).
