Can't access Gunter
I cannot access Gunter. From what I understand, when you enter the part of the church basement where he is stored (after giving Snake the key) a cut scene should start where you can open his gate. Well, the cut scene never started, and I cannot open the gate! Any help? I'd love to get Zombies, but just can't get past the gate to Gunter.

That doesn't trigger it. I've done it on a different day. I really think it's something with the latest updates that screwed up the event to not show up.

Odd, because I was able to do it fine on PC.

Maybe OP has done something to the game's code and added an unstable mod of sorts.

OR they have encountered this bug due to something with their computer's setup. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Still, if it can be replicated then it's a bug. But if you did the scene with no trouble then something is not right.

So I waited until a church/sermon day, approached Gerry from the left, the morgue door AND, just for the heck of it, from the right... Still no cutscene. :( I'm on the Xbox One version, so I couldn't mess with the code if I tried. It's also frustrating since I can't send in a savegame file with a bug report.

I think Xbox doesnt have the Breaking Dead DLC yet.

You're right, it doesn't. I guess OP also is playing on XBone since THEY can't get the scene to trigger. Maybe it will release in the SPRING?! Wouldn't that be ironic, something dead being associated with something alive!

I am playing it on Steam and I am having issues with the event triggering, I already sent the log to the devs and hoping it will get resolved or at least further communication from them to get to the bottom of the issue. Also there are others that are encountering the same issue and if you looked at the original poster's profile you can clearly see Graveyard Keeper as his recently played game here on Steam.

L.p.

Gah, that must be it. I feel like I'm missing out a lot by playing the Xbox One version..... And yet I don't want to stop and start a PC game since that means I'll lose all my progress.

But honestly I'm glad I have my PC, I have a wide assortment of games to play without having to deal with hardcopies or consoles (my room is a mess, I don't know where I'd put it).

As far as I remember, apart from fulfilling his alcohol requests, you don't ever need walk all the way to Gerry himself and initiate conversation yourself to get any furrther progression with him. Most of the time he'll just start chatting with you himself whenever he has something new to say when you walk near.

Read the stub about Gunter on the Wiki (Gamepedia one) or any video about Gunter/Getting Zombie in Graveyard Keeper and you will see what we are talking about.

Hi I had some kind of the same problem. The save file of my first savegame got damaged (don´t know why) i had already played the game through and didn´t want to waste my time on doing it again. I used some cheats to get me through faster. The only problem I had was Gunter. What i found out was that the event with Gunter seems to be time-depending. The event will triger some around 19 ingame days time.

FYI for all, I thought mine was bugged too, but it decided to fix itself right after I gave Snake the Necro.
