Alchemy, best to look up a guide as you'll have to refer to it for a lot of other things, to start with alchemy follow the hiccup grass quest from the merchant to the witch in the swamp.

[YEON]

First. you need 'Alchemy Table I'.
Next. You need 'Ash' and 'Seed Oil'.
And. Mix it in Alchemy table. Then you could get 'Black Paint'.

Next you need is 'Church Table'.
The needed ingredients are 'black ink', 'Water', and 'Conical Flasks'.
You can make 3 'Black Ink' with these ingredients on 'Church Table'.

This game here is made for Wiki so you may need to try to use wiki much more dude ,-)

You can buy Black ink with the Astronomer as i did if you need it right away.

Keep in mind : it is very important to reaserch every part of every item you make down in your basement.
You need to know the item before you can use it, that is why we need to study it ( in this game , nice mechanics by the way )
