Bug with donkey and carrots

Donkey went on strike like usual i built the box for the carrots i put the carrot in the box and oil on his wheels but when he came back to deliver a body he told me "no carrots no corpse" i checked the box there were 10 of them i added 10 but he still doesn't want to deliver the corpse any help ?

Its 10 carrots plus 5 in advance, so you need 15
The donkey saysbhe wants 10 carrots with 5 in advance so the box should accept 15 at a time instead of 10

Did you wait for around midnight on a day thats not pride day with room in the morge?

Are you sure? Zero bodies? None at the river edge cuz you dont know how to dumb bodies? None half buried in a grave? None waiting to be burned? Morge says 0 out of 1 or how many pallets you have?

nope it says 0/1 corpse and he still don't want to deliver the corpse

I have also encountered this bug. I fed him originally AND gave him the oil. He left then came back. I had no carrots in the box then proceeded to put in 10. Got "No carrots, no body." Put in another 10, same response. Another 10, same response. I now have 40 carrots in the box and get the same "No carrots, no body." dialogue.

In case this is a bug from something else: I repaired the chute before filling the box from 10 to 40.

I have the same bug. If you restart the game each day, it will bring a corpse. Its one corpse per game reset so far, no matter how many carrots you have in the box.

I've tried soft resets(quit to menu) and hard resets(quit game) and it still isn't giving me a corpse.

the donkey is just an invalid guys, apparently that's how the developer wants it, i'm around 10 hours into my playthrough and nearing the end just unlocked the cathedral upgrade and i'm lucky if i see the donkey more than once a week, this is singlehandedly why i've almost entirely stopped playing the game until a significant patch/update for now.

Strange I never had any problems: I made the carrot box; Then oilied the wheels and after I burned all the unwanted bodies and did all the work I could without money I gave him the carrots and he started give a body every couple of days everytime I refilled the box so what.. AH!! Did you fill the ground with gravesites?? I ran into a problem once when I filled the church land with empty gravesites.. I have no idea why but apprently he will act like the gravesite id filled when you do that one..

Ok so I was finally able to fix this. These are the steps I took, not sure which it was that unstuck it.

1. Completely close/open game.
2. Build pallet in morgue.
3. Add carrots to box.

He then dropped the body in my chute and ran off.
