Donkey/corpse frequency

According to the 1.027 changelog Donkey was change so it would come every day.
That's not the case for me since that update. At best I'm gett a corpse every 2nd day (even if I process them asap), and sometimes 3-4 days without corpses if that that 2nd day happens to be Sunday.

And since one of the updates Donkey doesn't seem to come when there are no carrots.
In previous version he came without carrots, just didn't drop off the corpse.
Now I want to see what happened to the Oiling the wheels objective, so I'm waiting for Donkey to arrive without Carrots (it's because I rushed through the conversation, and he left right after getting the first batch of carrots).

Anybody has information on this?
It has to be a game started in 1.030.

You're probably doing it wrong.

He won't sow up if:

1. It's Vainity/Pride day
2. There are no carrots in the trough
3. You are at max in corspses.

*4. If you stock carrots after mid-day (eg. you were empty and refilled the trough). He won't show up till the following day.

He comes at midnight each day for me except pride day or if my morge is full

Alao oiling hid wheels doesnt seem to do anything, it doesnt even make him happy

I guess that was changed then as well..

Yeah, I just wanted to do the oiling in case it has a chance to drop a Story, but it's no big deal.

For me he's coming around sundown nowadays.

You can fill more carrots initially, and he'll skip needing oil. It's a bug but it saves you the trouble of having to buy the oil.

I still do it, out of a masachistic obligation to make the communist happy.
