Fake donkey cover
Hello, the cover on which the protagonist rides the donkey is fake, you can not ride at any time of the game. What's more, the donkey and the guardian have a pretty bad relationship, the donkey would never let himself ride, he hardly brings corpses.

The donkey and the skull, apparently coprotagonists, hardly appear past the first hours of the game.

My face was like...prrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Its almost like promotional art is *gasp* sometimes meant to show you characters from the game and in no way reflect finished gameplay. Also the corpses don't give me a thumbs up, LIESSSSSS

The town was not a "joke". It's a narrative plot point that people either don't understand, or refuse to understand.

How any one could get so butt hurt over it to keep crying about it for weeks... that makes no logical sense. It demonstrates that trolls and ignorant haters are just using it as a talking point to bury this game.

Grow up. You may not be able to do anything about your intelligence, but you can do something about your maturity.

They kinda went a bit far on this one, some of those images display things that people want out of the game that don't exist, a cart and more interactions with the graveyard for instance.

are you going to paste this everywhere now? The developers called it a joke themselves so that really isn't a point of contention, whether or not it was warranted to tell the story is more important. There really wouldn't be a problem at all if they just finished the story so there was some payoff to everything.

Being told " area not available in alpha, come back at release" for almost 2 years makes it kinda hinted at or teased at being available after release, is what most people are mad about

Pretty much this but the last 2 weeks on this forum shows me that maturity will not happen. I just gave up on it by now.

People just dont understand world-building, it sets the tone of the world. We didnt see the great blast happen, so are people going to complain they dont get to witness that as well? since its talked about all the time.

Yeah buddy, and the first gameplay trailer for Bioshock: Infinite showed a totally different game and mechanics. Its called "during game production things change". People get butthurt too easily, the menu screen also shows a zombie hand on the bottom left, i dont see people asking "where the zombies at?" that they discussed MAY have been a part of the final game on twitter months ago.

They're still using those images for marketing, not quite the same thing, it's just disapointing is all.

Dude if you’re disappointed by exaggerated marketing pictures, then pretty much any game ever will disappoint you. Look up promo art for any game or even movies. People just want someone to complain about. Maybe at some point they planned you to ride a horse or donkey and it got cut.
