In fact he is even mentioning at some point like 'I only buy high quality stuff but I don't think you can get your hands on some anyway yadda yadda...'
you can't sell booze afaik. There are a lot of items you just can't sell
Gold wine can be sold to the merchant
Gold beer can be used in the stall that you build on Witch Hill (part of the Inquisitor's quest line) which gets you money.
Alcohol cant be sold, it's just there to use as ingredients for alchemy (Use it in your inventory to get alcohol droplets)
This is just what I have observed so far
how about MEAD and carved marble statues??
ikr... anyway thanks for the info
The only things you can sell are items that traders sell, and items that are greyed out when you view their inventory. Some merchants won't purchase items they sell, I have found so that is a little fuzzy, but.
i also read somewhere that they "buy" whatver is greyed out on their inventory. So i tested it, they don't buy all those greyed out stuff, like the priest and the dead horse owner, also the blacksmith...
