The Inquisitor asks you if you know of anything to use as "evidence of witchcraft. Or the undead. Or any other cult stuff." You have to choose between "I could bring you a talking skull. His name is Gerry," "There's a dark cult shrine, in the Cellar under the regular one," or "I wouldn't know anything about that sort of thing."
Choosing the first option, the Inquisitor will decline your offer and nothing happens to Gerry (Unlocks "He trusted you..." Steam achievement).
Wow, thank you. You are the real MVP.
For those who wants to use it but can't figure out how:
Copy these files from Bravo's archive: 1.dat , 1.info (you might wanna change the number in the filename so it doesn't overwrite your own save).
Paste them into saves folder, the path is C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Lazy Bear Games\Graveyard Keeper (don't forget you need to turn on 'Show hidden files' option in your Windows Explorer as AppData is a hidden folder by default).
Launch the game and load the Bravo's savefile, wait 5 min or get tired and skip the in-game night by sleeping, then go to the Witch Hill and talk to Inquisitor. When the moment comes, tell him about Gerry. EZ.
Thanks again, Bravo, you saved many lives today, mine included.
In my case, i played, and completed the game without realizing that one of the achievements were missable.. and obviously.. completely missed it.
It would take many.. many hours replaying to reach that point again. Hence why a save file would be very appretiated.
Again. If anyone could dropbox the save files, it would be highly appretiated.
Here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dxyggvjhq4rphwu/gk_savegame_he_trusted_you.rar?dl=0
Hey is there anyway you could reup the file? Its no longer there for free.
Sometimes it pays to read a topic :P
Check out BEE STRONG's post. Looks like he will have helped us both :D
I tried his but the saves 3 saves I got were either early game or end game, nothing close to where you betray Gerry. Unless I'm missing something?
Ehmmm, you betray Gerry in pretty much end game.
As I said, all you need is '1.dat' and '1.info' from the archive. Load it up, sleep through the night and go to the witch hill. Talk to Inquisitor and choose Gerry when he asks you about wierd stuff you might have seen.
The save file's 100% okay, I'm sure you were doing something wrong, try it again.
UPD: by the way, the archive I posted dropbox link to is 100% identical to Bravo's. I just straigh up uploaded his archive to my dropbox because someone was asking for it.
I am such a idiot thank you so much. I don't know why i thought it was a little earlier in the questline. There was so much going on at once I guess I mixed it up. Thanks again!!!
