Selling honey.
So why does no one buy honey? Not the merchant, not dig, not the inn keeper, not even the bee keeper. Honey was a major product and one of the few sweets that could be stored. It is a luxury item and should be popular and pricey. By the way, I adore this game and have played it more than any other solo game in years.

Should have likely posted this in 'suggestions', but I agree ...doesn't even have to sell for all that much, but despite the multitude of uses it has, I still found myself struggling to find storage place for all the extra, as one needs to farm it for bees and honeycomb.

Good point, I'll head over there to post this. For now I use honey as something I just eat to keep my energy up when I'm not drinking the hundreds of gold star wine I have stockpiled. I love the trading system with the merchant but when he says "we can soon expand our product line" or "the more fame we have the higher prices we can charge" and then I don't see that happen it's frustrating. I do understand that in-game logic honey is an easy to aquire item so why give it priority but still atleast let Dig buy it...

It would be nice for fame to affect the other goods one can pack and sell. Example the normal merchant unlock would get you the silver and gold veg boxes, 5 fame would get you tier one goods like Nails, Simple Iron parts, Clay Bowls etc
2nd and 3rd and so on for higher tier items which could all sell for more (Examples with statues and Jewelry and gold Wine being bery high end)

^ This. Would love a tier system for the merchant company. Along with the increased base prices due to fame that is already being suggested by the merchant.

You can already sell nails, clay bowls, and certain other basic items as a "Box of Goods", made in the Crate Factory. Just queue them up, drop a zombie in, and pick them up later.

I often will use my honey in Muffins. They are fairly easy to make and provide a decent source of Stamina while trying to get access to wine.

I really wish the vendors acceptable more items. So many items become pointless or significantly less worth while since no one will buy them. Everything doesn't need to be a cash crop but we should have a way to get rid of everything without having to destroy it.
