The body parts can be used in alchemy mills, hand mixers and distilation cubes, To make powders, solutions and extracts. Those ingrediants are used to make potions embalming fluids and fertilizer

Blood, Fat, Skin, Flesh is must have, and Skulls for quests. All the rest is only when you have access to alchemy.

you forgot flesh if he wants hamburgers or for the stamp eventually, lesser value though i'd say.

For me it depends on how high quality the corpse is. For the ones I want to burn, right now I'm taking skin and flesh but you can take all of it for now and sort out which parts you want to continue harvesting later on. Bodies that I leave on the floor too long (because I'm away from home too long or whatever) start to have their skulls turn green (rotten), so I harvest them for parts and burn them.

For the ones I want to bury, the parts you harvest determine the final red/white skull outcome, so I just try to end up with a large number of white skulls and few-to-no red skulls. This helps you make a nicer graveyard. If you get a high-quality body (90%+, lots of skulls, most of which are white) then that's a good candidate for the graveyard. If they have 2 or fewer red skulls, removing fat and blood will change one red skull to white each.

You will need a lot of skulls for quests, and you'll want at least one or two of each body part for research/alchemy.

You will need 25 skulls, if I counted right - after that they are useless. Tip: in the beginning of the game, if you happen to get 1red/X white corpse and have access to soft parts tech: take out the skull first to add another red skull, then drain blood and fat and you get an X+1white corpse...small improvement, I know, but in the beginning every bit helps.

? the skull only drains a red skull, so why do that? it's not necessary in most cases from the basic parts, only taking blood and fat will add a white skull. Adding a red skull is only needed if you wanna treat the body with silver and gold solutions and the body is lacking red skulls.

you can add 7 white skulls to a body in total, and it needs a maximum of 4 red skulls. (with 5 red skulls you can only add 6 white ones or even less by removing organs also lowering white skulls)

He meant in the early game. You can only take 2 red skulls and add 2 whitenwith basic techniques. If you have 1 red-skulled body, take the skull first and then 2 soft tissues

bones never change the corpse so are always safe to remove, and the white powder is useful in paint and in making marble urns (you need 72 urns for maximum efficency).

Bones are waste of time, just farm limestone and you will have white powder for years.
And you need 96 Urns for maximum efficency.

Harvest all the body parts from early game from all the corpses that have too many red skulls and are unsuitable for burial. That way you will have enough ingredients for alchemy later on. Either burn the bodies after or throw them in the river.

You can save time and storage space by not extracting bones, skin, brains, hearts and intestines as they can be replaced by limestone, sulfur, bat wings and maggots. You can extract some of them in the beginning but don't bother with harvesting all of them from discardable bodies. Only 25 skulls needed for quests. Blood and fat gathered from "good" corpses should be enough for everything. Meat is required for inquisitor's quest, around 10 should be enough. If you plan to sell packages of meat to tavern than you'll need 6 flesh per week. That's about it I think.

Better burn them, as you never can have enough ash to turn either in black paint or fertilizer. After you got your marble filled buria pots.

Why waste Ash on black paint? You can use Graphite powder, and Water to make black paint.

Oh right forgot that one, wish you could sort the discovered recipe list in the alchemy workbench as I always oversee that one as it is the first one I had discovered and I always scrolled down to the second one which is with the ash.
