Bodies with 13 white skulls
I noticed that if I get a body with a dark heart or intestines, If you apply both gold/silver injects, the lye and glue, remove blood then fat, you end up with a body that has 13 skulls. I wouldn't be bothered by this if the meter didnt exceed every frame or if we could capitalize on it by having items we can craft like a carved marble fence around the grave that provided 6 grave rating. Has anyone else magaed to get bodies with 13 white skulls?

Yep, useless crap.

I've got a few as well. It is possible to actually get the graves themselves decorated to 13 if the corpse starts as a 3/6. It's rare to get one of those however, I think I only got 1 in a total of 3 different playthroughs.

13WS was the max, back in the day - prior to v1.1, which is when this thread was started (nice res, btw). Now, with the ability to mix and match organs, the new WS max is 16, iirc.

Bodies with 13 white skulls are fine, just bury them and be happy you can max out each grave. The best you can get is 16 white skulls and no red, which will allow you to make zombies with 40% efficiency (i.e.: they work 40% as well as your character does at any given task).

You need lye, glue, gold, silver, optionally restorative (if they got any green) and preservative and then you need brain, heart and intestines with 3 white skulls each. At least one of the three has to have -2 red skulls in order to make the corpse have no red when finished.

Having red skulls is fine for a zombie, but if you have no red skulls, you can bury them in your graveyard towards the end of the game when you don't need zombies anymore. This is good if you're trying for max graveyard score (1258 iirc) and don't want to wait for enough new corpses with the right parts.

Edit: As an aside, it's really good to go for the Cultist "technology" so that you can store up major organs and fully embalmed bodies with just flesh, skin and skull an just mix and match to get the optimal corpse for your needs. For example, the aforementioned 13w corpse likely had brain, heart and intestines with 2w each. One of them could be replaced with a 1w to make a 12w corpse, and the replaced part saved for another body later.

You don't need to start with red skulls at all if you haven't embalmed yet, lye and dark add 3 and then silver and gold take them away again.
