What Every NPC Buys

I need to sell some items, but I do not know what each NPC buys exactly and I need to make money

They buy what they sell - usually. They will certainly buy anything in their inventory, that isn't something you can buy off them though.

Use official wiki, look under NPC tabs.

just some useful things you can sell:

-silver wine to the innkeeper
-gold wine to the merchant
-silver ingots to the merchant
-jewlery to ms. charm (after advancing her quest)
-any bronze prayer to the bishop

- Bread to bishop;
- Rusty instruments, iron bars, iron parts, nails to blacksmith;
- Vegetables to farmer (not hops / grapes / hemp / wheat).

Maybe it's a bug, but I just tried to take bronze produce/seeds to the farmer and he wouldn't buy them. Blacksmith doesn't want to buy rusty tools or anything either.

Blacksmith buys iron ingots for sure.

Actually the bishop will buy ANY prayer, but his money doesn't build up l ike other vendors (bug?) so you can only trade him for items of a greater value than your prayer is worth. I did this a couple to buy some candles and incense at later levels but it's usually not worth it.

You can sell rusty tools to the blacksmith. It’s annoying he won’t buy iron tools off you though.

As for produce. You can sell some cooked foods to the inn keeper and merchant. And bread to the bishop but you can only sell a couple high level produce items to one specific person after following a quest chain.

Well, shoot. So I have to actually craft all my surplus produce into food to sell it.

And yeah I might have actually meant *iron* tools; blacksmith won't buy those. I don't know if this is a bug or intended behavior.

we could use a better list of sellable items indeed. the "you can sell items that npcs sell themselves" does not work most of the time. just out of the top of my head i know that honey and hemp cannot be sold at all, while theres npcs who trade in this.
then ive heard "items that are greyed out in a buy list can be sold", but once again that doesnt apply to the tavern guy who buys silver wine.. just the fish and church guys have a lot of greyed out items they buy afaik
