I wasn't sure how to specifically thank you without quoting you. But thank you soooo much! I had the exact same problem as you and now its fixed! Thank you dkt01 and felixfelicis88 (and that one other guy who's name I can't see) for looking out for us poor mac users.
Not sure where this /library/application support/unity.lazy bear games.graveyard keeper directory is located.

try this first and let me know if you see a daat.1 file and the info.1 file there.
To everyone else: I completely agree that this should not be happening. I can only imagine the amount of frustration that this issue has caused to those players who experienced the same glitch and did not have the inspiration to search for a solution online. I ache for them.
To the devs: If you read this, PLEASE DO SOMETHING. Your game is amazing and you know it. It's a disservice to you and your work that many players' last impression of both will be of betrayal and loss. Having save files dissappear after random power cuts is not normal. Random power cuts will always happen.
hey there! I am so glad that someone has found some hope out of the disparate situation that many others have found themselves in.
Was very happy to have helped at least one person out, that's all really that anyone wants and what these threads are here for.
Thanks again to all those who posted here, and this thread will be here for those who need it.
Keep posting here even if you find a solution, it may mean the difference to others who like me, and Nat, like the game and want to keep others enthusiastic about it, despite its short comings.
:-)
Apparently this took me almost a year to see.
Gal, actually, but you're welcome.
