i'm restarting every ~3-4 weeks, just in case
I really would like merchants to restock every day. I mean maybe I get why some merchants you visit every day can't sell you everything the very next day and requires time to restock.
But how does that work with the Bishop/Merchant when they are away for a whole week.
My suggestion is don't dump everything you got on them. Take it easy and pace yourself. Now I limit myself to only sell between 5-10 of each items per week and I only sell to each vendor once a week. If you're desperate, limit yourself to a maximum of one stack of each item per week and no more.
If you happen to dump a lot of stuff and they're not restocking the next time you see them, you've overdone it. Now you just have to wait. How long do you need to wait? Well, it depends on how badly you've abuse them. LOL.
Remember, being greedy doesn't pay ;p
Astrologer won't sell me any more purple skill point books, egg lady sells no more eggs, etc, etc.
Also I noticed as I increased the cathedral quality, the tavern vendor holds a lot more gold.
When you notice the vendors do not update do the folowing.
1. Finish your day and sleep in your bed.
2. Exit the game completely turn it off.
3. Reopen the game and load your save.
4. Stay a day in your graveyard area and sleep at the end of your day.
5. It should be fixed now.
If it isn't fixed you probebly went to far during step 4.
I sold loads of coal to the blacksmith and he then had no money.
One week later he had 1 silver, so I thought I would wait to see if it went up any further.
One week after that he was down to 10 copper.
Where the hell did he spend that 90 copper?
Now after about 100 days he is still at 10 copper.
Game is full of strange little glitches.
After reserching glass, conical flask and advanced con flasks when making then in furnace they no longer give spiritual points (the advanced one give 1 or 2 for every 9 made)
