You have to use the Town Pass north of the city road a thunder gonna strike you and you die, but you respawn with Gerry the skull talking about snake know how to get the tools but you need 60 rep with him but this will lead to the astrologer and he will speak abt the necromicon and gonna say that he gave to the light keeper, the light keeper will gonna trade ffor 5 maggots
Used https://github.com/NetroScript/Graveyard-Keeper-Savefile-Editor and added restoration tools to the inventory.

To get the Necronomicon I need to get the restoration tools. (he does not give it to the fisherman)
To get the restoration tools I need the Necronomicon.
Both are locked behind the other since to get either requires rep that is interdependent.
I've read forums, Ive literally gone back and forth numerous times to see if somehow I am missing something and I am not. The game is bricked at this point and I can go no further.
Someone above said it has been fixed but for some reason it's not fixed for me. If it was previously fixed than a patch must have broken it again.
To get the restoration tools, you need to have the astrologer bring them up as a requirement for restoring the Keepers journal. Then go to Snake and just ask for them, which requires 40 happiness. How do you get that 40 happiness? Giving him the golden key (from studying the iron Keeper's key) gets you 10, giving him 5x Bloody nails and 1x Bucket of blood (from dungeon levels 3-5) should get you 10 more each(!), and lastly some back and forth between Snake and Ms. Charm regarding a necklace should yield another 10 = 40. This worked perfectly fine for me during a recent play-through, on PC v1.122;
Finally someone who gives an actual correct and useful answer!
When I ask about the necklace, he doesn't tell me about the guy at the fort, and my character says that maybe I need to ask him again later, and then the necklace has the same rep requirement as the Restoration Tools!!
Then ask Snake about the necklace...
I'm stuck as well. I only recently purchased the game- maybe a week ago.
I've gotten far with Ms Charm to where she's asked for my help with the farmer's daughter. I've gone to the astrologer and the lighthouse keeper. The lighthouse keeper never asks me for the maggots and doesn't want them. The astrologer never tells me to go to the lighthouse keeper. I've done everything with Snake - he doesn't have anything else to tell me about the necklace. I've already used the key to go to the dungeon. I've given him his blood. I have 40 happiness with Snake already. I have a bubble that says "about the stuff I'm looking for.." but I need 60 happiness. There's nothing more I can do for him. He asks me for the Necronomicon (+10 happiness) but I can't give what I don't have. If I click "about that necklace", my only option is "leave".
I've essentially done everything above... :/
