Snake is not showing up? [Help!]

I have gotten the key, I haven't studied it yet, but still Snake is not showing up on envy day.
He showed up once, where he didn't believe I was the Graveyard Keeper, but I haven't spoken to him since, what now??

He finally showed this night, don't know if it's because I shut down the game and opened it again, because I was down there another envy night and he was nowhere to be found, but thanks for your answer.

Same here, I think it must be a bug. I went down every night, only after restarting the game did he start showing up again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, even though it sucks you had to go through all that of course!
