I'm assuming it's a play on the protagonist of highlander being named maccloud.

I got it long before ritual

it is a reference to Highlander tv series, I believe. You should prove that you're immortal. I get it when I've died 10 times or somewhere around that.

I only died twice for the story. So dying gives u a free heal and home teleport? :)
