dungeon?
How do you have enough energy to fight things? (what is a good source of energy?) What is cost effective?

I use grape pie a lot. Only costs 1 pastry dough and 1 grape for 2 pies. bronze rating gives you 80 energy. Felt natural to use that food since I was making so much wine.

But if you are fishing a lot or farming vegetables it might be more effective to use that.

I use tons of cooked carrots for me its the easiest to obtain and prepare, just get carrots and cook it, not additional features like preparing the dought or anything. Gives 12 energy each but I usually carry around 50-25

At the beggining I used bronze wine because it gives you 30 health and 50 energy and its the cheapest of the 3 wines. The silver wine I make I sell it to the inn keeper while the gold one to the Merchant.

also it helps when you dodge the enemies and hit them only when you actualy hit them, dont swing sword just because there is enemy in teh next room :D
also the best sword is only -1 energy, get that asap
only carry weapon, armor, axe (if you want wood and metal) and after level 5 pickaxe (if you want silver, gold and diamods, .. you should want that :D ),.. you may use portall too, you can leave anytime and when you return its the same with your progres saved (until restart i think)
so you can easyli resuply

Idk about the sword thing, i would craft one of those for a mission (spoiler) but i wouldn't craft another for me because I would keep the material for selling, the dungeon is over after 15 floors so no big deal, however MONEY IS THE ISSUE! (u will need 12 GOLD ♥♥♥♥♥♥ COINS.)

I spend a fair bit of time in the dungeon when I can, here are my go-to's so far:

- Berry pie as a generic, convenient food
- A stack of anything that's easy to make and replenishes lots of energy. I find pumpkin soup to be very good for that.
- Wine is incredible, even bronze quality heals AND restores stamina quite significantly
- It's always handy to have a handful of kabobs on you for the boosts they provide

I used cooked carrot, it has crazy yield (4 items for 1 carrot, that's +4x12 energy). I didn't grow grapes at first, so I also used gold star Cake (+95 energy), but now that I started with grapes, I drink gold-star wine. I have so much gold star wine that Merchant pays only a few copper if I tried to sell it :D

Generally I prefer energy sources from farming, because you can "plant and forget", then you just pick up the results. Look at the cooking recipes and check for:
1) how many ingredients are required
2) how many products are produced
3) can you mass produce it?

By mass producing, I mean when you select a recipe, you want a recipe where you can select that you want to cook 20 at a time, for example. The mentioned grape pie cannot be mass produced, so you gotta keep clicking. Cake and cooked carrot can be mass produced, and with the cake I found use for my berry garden :)
Jellies. You're getting half the resources needed for them in the dungeon to begin with. They cost only 15 and 20 energy to make 3 at a time and each gives 75 energy and 80.
