@DaZ i have several thousand of red and green though and gaining lots of them at ridiculous rates still :P
That way you get 1 blue for each 1 river sand you mine.
I also am in the situation as you with several thousand of the red and green points, i just hope that when tech tree is finished the points will stop showing.
OK, I take that part back :) heh. I've reached a point where I have roughly equal levels of all 3 - but I guess since red/green come from processing basic resources, they eventually pool up again. Several thousand is pretty impressive - I probably should have expected to hit that eventually. I think my highest red was 300 before I hit some of the mid-level tech unlocks and quickly burned through it all.
Which, going off of that, what exactly can you do with the rope as opposed to making candles? Does anyone buy it? :P
Already got to the esmeralda part in his storyline
About the rope.. the crazy man in the village buys/sells rope. But rope is used to make candles (which also gives blue points).
Hells, even if the next "Free Expansion" added a "self improvement" tech tree that did things like increase your health/energy regeneration/energy pool for escalating amounts of points as well as adding things like increased movement speed or buildable buff-granting objects (like a blueprint requiring 500 blue and 1000 red to unlock that allows you to make a small music-box that grants the Deep Sleep buff)
