Problem is to build said beehouse you need bees.

Sure, a beekeeper sells them for silver and more for each bee, but that's only an option once you're making silver in the affordable amounts.

Bees and beeswax are generally just pretty rare

What trees? do i have to cut down the tree with the bees in it? I harvest from the bee hives in the trees and only get 2 honey, no bees or beeswax

the bees and beeswax should rarely drop with the 2 honey when you harvest

He's a little above and to the left of the inn, he looks like one of the generic villagers- straw hat, white shirt, etc.

but there is no sign for him right? I think I have met him to be honest now that I think about it. if that is where you describe him at.

There are a few villagers that don't have a sign. Beekeeper is one (to the left of the Dairy Farmer). Potter is another (to the left of the Blacksmith).

The intial grind for bees is real bad, but the drop rate for them in the constructed hives is WAY better. After your first one or two hives, it really snowballs from there.

Only harvest from wild beehives in the day to get bees. At night they "sleep". At least I think that's how it works. Worked for butterflies and moths on flowers.

I think it's purely RNG when it comes to bee drop. Lately I'm harvesting at night and I got some bees from wild beehives. Of course the drop rate is higher when harvesting from your own beehives. I got bees and wax 50-60% of the time from my own apiary.

If you start doing rounds before midnight from north of the church and keep going north until you hit the wall and then make your way back to the apiary area, you don't have to wait a long time to harvest from your beehives again by dawn. So basically can harvest twice a day. The only limit is your stamina and health.

I'm at the point I got so many honey I don't know what to do with them. There's only so many cake I can bake. I only keep harvesting them for the wax. LOL.

I don't know why I'm not really into muffins before. Maybe it's time to change my diet from cake and wine to neverending muffins. LOL.
