who buys the ceramic bowls?

The priest received the initial 20 bowl but I noticed you could expand the technology to produce more elaborate bowls. But the priest doesn't buy the normal ones and I can't seem to sell them to other characters.

who buys them? Because else it's a pretty useless technology.

The bowls can be used in other recipies like polishing paste, making urns, and other things for other techs.
