Drowning in hemp rope

Has anyone found another usage of hemp rope besides making candles? I way to much hemp rope... Or does any vendor buy it?

Hi wanted to give you a response, with your hemp dont make hemp rope but use the hemp in the alchemist mill under your church area and it will make powders heaps of processes, dont know where you can sell hemp rope so i havent bothered but using all the hemp for powders. you do have to research hemp first to advise you on what you can use it for. Hope this helps you

Just confirming that you cannot sell it to the hippy, you can buy it from him but not sell it too him.

who can you sell it to? i have like 5 stacks of hemp rope and im about to destroy it all because im not making damn candles because thats a waste of resources (beeswax, paint, etc)

Nice rez ... and you could've just checked yourself ... but I checked again, and it seems nothing has changed since 4 years ago - you still can't sell any hemp, hemp seeds, or hemp rope to any vendor. Technically, I didn't check every daily vendor, but I can be relatively sure.

Not sure why you're hating on candles. Sure, beeswax and white paint do have other applications, but I'd say candles would be the priority; you're basically trading those resources for Faith, the latter being a significant bottleneck throughout the majority of the game. So, why *wouldn't* you make use of candles?
