Trying to create ink, but cannot find where to research a graphite powder.

TECH tree - (think) mining - graphite. THINK you need 2nd. level forge also.

Graphite powder for ink? I'm pretty sure you need only black paint for it which is ash + oil

I already have 14 graphites and water, but graphite do not grind into graphite powder by the alchemy mill...
Read that you need to research it for grinding, but I cannot find where.

Ok, problem solved. You needeed to research graphite at the research table underground.

Black Paint can be made several ways. Ash + Seed Oil, Graphite Powder + Water, or Death Powder + Water.

Unlock Graphite in the mining tree, Create Graphite from coal in the Furnace, Study Graphite in the Table, Grind Graphite in the Mill to Powder, Use Graphite and Water in Alch Table 1.

PS Self imposed hard mode in this game is no joke, Not using bodyparts for anything and trying to be a normal person is plain hard. Exception: Ash as that is mainly the wood, and since there is no freaking alternative.
