No Science Points

I need the big blue Science orbs in order to research anything at the Study Table. I can't buy books from the Astrologist, because I haven't finished his quest yet and I can't finish his quest because I don't have the Science orb to research the key and instructions... I am very lost as to what to do, because it seems that I'm at a dead end.

You need to develop the technology that allows you to make paper. I haven't gotten up to that in the full game yet, but in the alpha it was very easy to make paper from human skin, and you can use that to get science points. Hope that helps :)

you need to unlock the poet quest in the tavern, to unlock the astrologist shop. to unlock the poet, you need to talk to the singer when she's in the tavern.

when i first opened the church and got the prayer i also got some books and paper. maybe there's some in a chest at your place?

I have the paper, but I can't research the paper without the big Science orbs.

I have used up the Science points from the books for other tech and didn't unlock glassworking, therefore I can't make alchemy table and can't make ink to create books. =/

Normal Glass works too and it don't need Blue Points to unlock

At church workbench you can turn skin into pigskins and then make clean paper ot of them . Paper itself cannot be studied but can be decomposed for 2 science.
If you don't have enough blue points (5) to unlock paper making you will need to either complete quests for Prior or talk to singer whitch will unlock poet whitch will unlock astronomer.

Where do you make church workbench? I am having issues with this
